Now in it's seventh year Little Easels offers a specially developed art program designed to get kids EXCITED about art and support their creative development.
EXPLORING drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and collage with a HUGE range of materials including charcoal, ink, watercolour, acrylic, plaster, clay, specialty papers, fabric and printing inks. Improve problem solving, self-discipline, concentration and confidence whilst having a whole lot of fun!
The program supports each child's unique creative potential and welcomes all levels of ability.
Venues: North Balgowlah Community Centre and Cromer Community Centre.
Creator/Tutor - Jenni Barrand
With an extensive background in childcare and children's workshop facilitation, Jenni has developed and taught the Little Easels art program over the last six years.
Jenni is a multimedia artist and exhibits regularly in Sydney. She is part of local art group The ARt Tree. Jenni studied at The Sydney Gallery School, Meadowbank TAFE up to Advanced Diploma level in Fine Arts. She is a proud supporter of Bear Cottage and a member of artIM - a group of artists providing workshops to the kids at Bear Cottage Hospital.
Tutor Lisa Woolfe
Lisa is an award-winning artist, children's illustrator and an experienced children's art tutor. She has been teaching at Little Easels since 2007 and is very popular with our students.
